I first heard about Blog Action Day 2008 when I went bloghopping over to Nessa's Mumblings. I felt inspired to join in and blog about what we can do to lend a hand in helping others.
…the blogging community effectively changes the conversation on the web and focuses audiences around the globe on that issue.
The theme this year revolves around POVERTY and with that, we hope that Blog Action Day will gather thousands and thousand of bloggers around the world to create awareness and trigger a global discussion regarding poverty.
So what can we do to help???
PLENTY.
Just by reading Nessa's article, it already created awareness in me, therefore I hope in turn it will create awareness in you through this blog post. You can also check out the 88 Ways To Do Something About Poverty Right Now at The Action Blog.
